[MEDIA RELEASE] PPV PIKAS IN PENGERANG WILL VACCINATE 5,123 WORKERS

Senior Minister and Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) YB Dato 'Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali accompanied by Deputy Minister of MITI YB Datuk Lim Ban Hong paid a site visit to the Vaccination Center (PPV) under the Public-Private Partnership COVID-19 Industry Immunisation Program (PIKAS) in Pengerang, Johor today. A total of 5,123 workers are expected to be vaccinated at this location since its opening on 16June 2021.


Apart from Pengerang, YB Dato 'Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali and YB Datuk Lim Ban Hong also visited the PPV at Austin International Convention Center (AICC) have witness its preparations. The PPV is Pengerang is an on-site PPV under Model 2 of PIKAS while the PPV in AICC is a Common Use PPV under Model 1 of PIKAS. The visit is also a follow-up to previous visits to the PPV in Selangor and Penang.
