Malaysia’s 5G network has been recognised globally at the prestigious Glotel award which acknowledges innovation and excellence in advancing and transforming telecommunications.

The winners were revealed at the global awards ceremony in London last Thursday where Ericsson’s joint submission with Digital Nasional Bhd (DNB) won the “Best Vendor 5G Innovation” category.

In a statement today, Head of Ericsson Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, David Hagerbro said the award was testimony to the technology and innovations being incorporated into the network that Ericsson is delivering for DNB, which would be the backbone for Malaysia’s digital transformation.

Introducing our first video-documented site visit! EUROCHAM Malaysia was invited by our member Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad to their first and newly developed industrial project, Hap Seng Business Park under Hap Seng Land Sdn Bhd located in Shah Alam. Mr. Manfred Webber, Director of Property Management, Hap Seng Land welcomed our CEO, Mr. Sven Schneider and the team at the site.

The project was developed on a 20-ha piece of land and is a one-stop solution for interested tenants, which are looking for a state-of-the-art, secure, and strategically located venue to operate in. Hap Seng Business Park features exceptional facilities that cover security and traffic management systems, a basement parking sector that spans almost the entire site, and forward-thinking unit specifications that will accommodate virtually all business needs.
