It has been an honour to conclude our productive Thursday with a virtual engagement with the European Commission, represented by Ms. Elina Melngaile, Member of Cabinet and Ms. Silvia Formentini, International Relations Officer at the Directorate General for Trade. Our CEO Sven Schneider shared our upcoming plans and presented our strong commitment to complement EU’s effort in promoting sustainability and circular economy. To further strengthen the EU-Malaysia economic ties in the coming future, we are excited to work closely with the EU Delegation to Malaysia (European Union in Malaysia) and our valuable bilateral chambers as well as to maintain regular exchange with the European Commission in Brussels.

Following the recent MOU between EUROCHAM Malaysia and the Croatian Chamber of Economy, we had a productive discussion yesterday evening to further understand the key focus areas and upcoming plans of both teams.
