EUROCHAM Malaysia is proud to announce that UNHCR will be organising the ASB-UNHCR Research Workshop on Refugee Studies and Forced Displacement 2023. EUROCHAM Malaysia CEO, Mr Sven Schneider will be participating in the panel discussion that will be happening during the 2-day workshop.
More than 100 million people were forcibly displaced in 2022, which is equivalent to 1 in every 78 people on Earth being forced to leave their homes. Amidst these challenges lie opportunities for the private sector to meaningfully engage refugees in a win-win proposition. The topic of the panel discussion is Win-Win: Making a Business Case for Supporting Refugees.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Ms Tay Su Yuen, Assistant Livelihoods and Economic Inclusion Officer, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR with an array of experienced professionals from various organisations as panelists to share their thoughts and experiences in this workshop.
