In a strategic move to accelerate the digital transformation in Selangor, Siemens has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Government of Selangor to offer technology advisory and consultancy services.  

This partnership is geared towards exploring opportunities for the development, support and enrichment of digital transformation ambitions in Selangor, in line with the Rancangan Selangor Pertama (RS-1) framework. The key segments covered by the MoU are: 

• Industry: Drive the digitalization and automation of Selangor's industrial sectors with Siemens' expertise. These sectors include Agrotechnology, Communication and Transportation (e.g. automotive, electric vehicles), Electrical & Electronics, Engineering & Machinery, Supply and Distribution of Goods (e.g. ports and logistics).
• Sustainability: Work towards enhancing environmental sustainability in areas such as resilience and disaster management, flood mitigation, water management and low-carbon management.
