Malaysia Govt to end CMCO in most areas, cites RM300m per day loss to economy


Selangor: CMCO extended to Dec 20, except for Sabak Bernam, Hulu Selangor & Kuala Selangor.

Kuala Lumpur: CMCO extended to Dec 20.

Putrajaya: CMCO over.

Negeri Sembilan: CMCO over, except for Seremban & Port Dickson.

Sabah: CMCO extended to Dec 20; EMCO on K Avenue Megacity in Penampang was lifted.

Labuan: CMCO over.

Penang: CMCO over except in Mukim 12 Barat Daya & Mukim 13 Timur Laut. However, two localities, namely Flat Jalan Paya Terubong, Relau & Flat Desa Bistari, Batu Uban, will be under EMCO until Dec 20.

Perak: CMCO over except for Kinta district, Mukim Teja, Kampar & Mukim Changkat Jong, Hilir Perak. EMCO in Zone B and Zone C in Taman Meru 2C were lifted, but the same restriction is imposed on Immigration detention depot in Langkap and its quarters in Hilir Perak until Dec 19.

Kelantan: CMCO over except in Kota Bharu, Machang, Tanah Merah& Pasir Mas districts. However, Madrasah Ad-Diniah Al Falahiah in Pasir Puteh will be under EMCO until Dec 20.

Johor: CMCO for Johor Bahru, Batu Pahat, Kulai, Kota Tinggi until Dec 20; CMCO ends for Mersing.

Terengganu: No CMCO.

Pahang: No CMCO.

Kedah: No CMCO, except for Kulim.

Perlis: No CMCO.

Malacca: No CMCO.

Sarawak: No CMCO.


- EMCO will also be enforced in several areas with a high number of Covid-19 cases.

- Inter-district and interstate travel no longer banned except in EMCO areas

- No more 2 person limit per car. Passenger limit based on vehicle capacity.
