Here are the latest SOPs for MCO effective May 25 - June 7, 2021:

Areas involved: Nationwide including Federal Territories of Labuan

*Specific measures currently undertaken in Sabah and Sarawak will be continued

-Public transports to operate based on 50% of vehicle capacity (operational hours and frequency subject to Ministry of Transport)

-All public & private Higher Educational Institutions, Vocational Institutes, and other schools and educational institutes  under Minister of Education will be closed from May 12 - June 7, 2021.

-Business operations including food outlets, shops, convenience stores, pet stores, laundromats, shopping malls, cybercafe, and petrol stations (except for highway rest stops) will operate from 8AM - 8PM for business operations. No dine-ins.

-Hospitals, clinics, and medical labs can operate 24 hours.

-Dry markets, wet markets, publics markets will operate from 6AM - 2PM, and Night markets will operate from 4PM - 8PM while pharmacies will be allowed to operate from 8AM - 10PM.

-40% of the workforce in the private sector, and 80% govt staff will work from home. Documentation remains as is - CIMS/MITI letter, employer letter/work pass. Non compliance will result in 7-day shut down order imposed with no compromise.
