[MEDIA STATEMENT] MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER (MCO) & ENHANCED MOVEMENT CONTROL ORDER (EMCO)

The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) has presented and proposed in the Special Session of National Security Council (NSC) chaired by the YAB Prime Minister today that PKP 3.0 be extended for another 2 weeks.

Accordingly, MCO 3.0 is extended for a period of two weeks effective from 15 June to 28 June 2021.

This decision was made after taking into consideration of the high number of daily cases at above 5,000 with the average number of new cases until yesterday being 6,871.

The positive/negative list and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each manufacturing, business and industrial activity remain as previously announced.
