Here are the talking points by the Senior Minister of Defence regarding the National Recovery Plan (NRP) and the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO).
YAB Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has already announced on 15 June, the National
Recovery Plan NRP which is a strategy to move out in phases from the COVID 19 pandemic crisis.
The plan is a guide based on data and science, covering four phases. The transition phase in stages
depends on the threshold value or threshold of three main indicators, namely:
- First ly the state of COVID 19 transmission in the community based on the number of daily
cases of infection,
- Second, bed utilization rates in ICU wards and
- Third, the percentage of the Malaysia n population that has completed receiving two doses of
vaccine injections.
The weekly Special Session of the National Security Council ( also examines these three main
threshold values at the state level.
