Italian Design Day 2021

UNIKL MIDI in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Kuala Lumpur is organising an online event in conjunction with Italian Design Day 2021 on Thursday, 8 July 2021 at 3:30PM MYT (+8 GMT). A webinar session will be streamed on Facebook Live on the respected Facebook pages – namely Embassy of Italy in Kuala Lumpur, Universiti Kuala Lumpur & Universiti Kuala Lumpur's Malaysia Italy Design Institute (MIDI).

The webinar will be a mindful session on the sustainable development through a series of talks by design experts. It was noted that one of the biggest challenges in this new century is the sustainable development in design and manufacturing. Interesting topics that will be covered during the webinar are on the crucial importance to restart sustainable development after climate change caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the new challenges and abilities to drive the significant efficiencies of the development.
