Here are the highlights of the latest updated SOP for Phase 2 of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) for the entire State of Sabah

Areas Involved:

The entire state of Sabah except the districts and localities enforced by EMCO. EMCO SOP in the localities is effective until the expiry date of the EMCO.

Kota Kinabalu, Putatan and Penampang districts are categorized as one District.

Effective Period:

From 10 July 2021 (Starting 12.01am)

Movement Control:

- PDRM is responsible for implementing control with the help of ATM, ESSCOM, APMM, APM & RELA.

- The PDRM will implement Roadblocks (SJR) to control cross-district movement during the specified period.

- Cross-District activities are NOT PERMITTED EXCEPT for emergency matters (medical/disaster/death), employment (public/private) with employer letter, COVID-19 Vaccination appointment and essential services.

- Movements for emergencies, long-distance couples and parents who want to see children under the age of 18 need to get permission from the PDRM
