EUROCHAM Malaysia Conducted their First-Ever Honorary Council of Advisors Meeting

EUROCHAM Malaysia conducted the first Honorary Council of Advisors meeting yesterday as part of our mission to create value for the European-Malaysia business community. The Honorary Council of Advisors (HCA) was created and initiated by EUROCHAM Malaysia to provide advice, collaborate, and start discussions on new projects, programmes, and initiatives, which shall be mutually beneficial and offer a platform to bridge the gap between the EU and Malaysia.

Among the distinguished founding council members that attended the meeting were His Excellency Mr Michalis Rokas, Ambassador and Head of EU Delegation to Malaysia, Tan Sri Dr Munir Majid, Chairman of CARI ASEAN Research and Advocacy and Chairman of ASEAN-BAC Malaysia, Dr Muhammed Abdul Khalid, Managing Director of DM Analytics Malaysia and Former Economic Adviser to former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Muhamad and Mr Adam Yee, President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Malaysia.

Also, in attendance were EUROCHAM Malaysia’s Chairman, Mr Oliver Roche, EUROCHAM Malaysia’s Deputy Chairman, Mr Luciano Pezzotta, EUROCHAM Malaysia’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Sven Schneider, together with EUROCHAM Malaysia’s Board of Director and Chairman of Malaysian Danish Business Council (MDABC), Mr Allan Jensen and EUROCHAM Malaysia’s Board of Director and CEO of Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MGCC), Mr Daniel Bernbeck.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Council members that agreed to be part of as well as attend the first introductory Honorary Council of Advisors meeting, we look forward to upcoming meetings as it will assist to address topics and issues by utilising the expertise and knowledge of all our advisors for the benefit of a stronger EU-Malaysia relation.
