Signing Ceremony Of Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) Between Malaysian Communications And Multimedia Commission (MCMC) And Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) & Forum On “Fortifying Industrial Policies Through Competition”

EUROCHAM Malaysia had the honour of being invited to witness the momentous Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and the Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC).

The event, held at the Azman Hashim Auditorium, AICB building, Kuala Lumpur, marked a pivotal step towards fortifying industrial policies through competition. The MoU aims to foster collaboration and synergy between the two regulatory powerhouses in addressing complex competition issues that transcend borders, creating a win-win situation for all parties involved.

The MoU was officially signed by YBhg. Dato' Seri Mohd Hishamudin bin Yunus, the esteemed Chairman of MyCC, and YBhG. Dato' Mohd Ali Hanafiah bin Mohd Yunus, the Chief Operating Officer of MCMC. We were honoured to witness the presence of distinguished personalities like YB Senator Puan Hajah Fuziah binti Salleh, Deputy Minister of Internal Trade and Cost of Living, as well as Tan Sri Mohamad Salim bin Fateh Din, Chairman of MCMC.

This landmark collaboration is sure to drive positive change and foster fair competition in the Malaysian market, paving the way for innovation and growth.
