Meeting with Automotive Hi-Tech Valley (AHTV)

EUROCHAM Malaysia, represented by CEO Mr. Karl Godderis and Government Relations Executive Mr. Shaik Irfan, had the pleasure of meeting with Automotive Hi-Tech Valley (AHTV) at Wisma DRB-HICOM yesterday.

A sincere thank you to Mr. Mohd Khalid Yusof, Deputy CEO of AHTV, and Ms. Nurliza Ahmad, Senior Manager (Investment Promotion & Marketing), for the warm welcome and informative session.

AHTV shared valuable insights into its role as Malaysia’s upcoming next-generation automotive hub. A strategic national project aimed at spearheading innovation in electrification, connectivity, and mobility, in line with the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030 and the National Automotive Policy.

Key discussions explored potential collaboration between the EU business community and AHTV, particularly in areas of advanced manufacturing, green mobility, and skills development to support the evolving automotive and EV ecosystem in Malaysia.

We look forward to exploring engagement opportunities and contributing to AHTV’s mission to make Malaysia a regional centre for high-tech, sustainable automotive development.
