On 2 Sept 2025, EUROCHAM Malaysia, together with our Premium Partner Air Liquide (MD, Leroux Bertrand), joined the EU–FTA Industry Stakeholder Consultation chaired by MITI Deputy Secretary General (Trade), Madam Mastura Ahmad Mustafa.
With the first round of negotiations held in Brussels this July, discussions spanned 20 chapters (6 led by MITI), addressing both challenges and opportunities for Malaysian exporters to the EU.
To complement the ongoing FTA efforts, we have rolled out the Malaysia–EU FTA (MEUFTA) Industry Survey to capture expectations of European businesses in Malaysia, ensuring balanced and commercially meaningful outcomes for both sides.
