On 15 October 2025, EUROCHAM Malaysia’s Healthcare Committee, represented by Fresenius Medical Care, Zuellig Pharma Malaysia, Roche, Siemens Healthineers, and Merck Healthcare, visited the Ministry of Health, Malaysia (KKM).

The meeting with Datuk Dr. Mahathar Abd Wahab, Director General of Health, and Dr. Wei Aun Yap, CEO of the Health Transformation Office, is timely as Malaysia navigates the challenges of an ageing society. Main focus areas included the necessary shift toward Value-Based Healthcare, the importance of cost-effective infrastructure, and the goal of enhancing wellness and prevention by boosting health literacy.

We thank the Ministry of Health and all committee members, as this meeting reaffirmed the strong public-private partnership in advancing Malaysia’s healthcare transformation, making quality healthcare more accessible and propelling Malaysia toward a healthy and prosperous nation.
