EUROCHAM Malaysia Attends Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) Multi-Agency Meeting

On 17 October 2025, EUROCHAM Malaysia’s Automotive Committee, along with MAN Truck & Bus Malaysia, Scania Malaysia, and Volvo Group, held a multi-agency dialogue with Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), Ministry of Transport (MOT), Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat (APAD), Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ), PUSPAKOM Sdn Bhd, Royal Malaysia Customs Department, and Malaysian Investment Development Authority.

The engagement served as a crucial platform for government agencies and industry members to address existing challenges and identify actionable solutions together. Discussion includes streamlining the commercial vehicle purchasing process, enhancing the safety features on heavy trucks, and examining the market viability of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) in Malaysia.
