Expatriate Services Division (ESD): Reduce Quarantine Period for Inbound Travellers

In accordance to Expatriate Services Division (ESD), Ministry Of Health, Malaysia (KEMENTERIAN KESIHATAN MALAYSIA) is pleased to announce that they had made the changes for the mandatory quarantine period for the international travellers, starting on Monday (14th December).

The key updates are as follows:

- Reduced the mandatory quarantine period for all inbound expatriates and their dependants, including foreign maids, from 14 to 10days.

- Travellers arriving in Malaysia are required to provide their latest COVID-19 RT-PCR test result at the Permitted Entry Points.

- Travellers will be placed under mandatory quarantine for 7 days if the RT-PCR Covid-19 test report is negative ; 10days for those without the said report.
