YAB Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has delivered a special today – special message as follows:

Our country is still facing the bitter challenge of the Covid-19 pandemic. I would like to extend my condolences to the family members of the Covid-19 victims who have left us forever and pray that all Covid-19 patients are given an immediate cure.

I hope the vaccination program that is being actively carried out at the moment will restore our country soon, God willing.

Malaysia is expected to achieve a vaccination rate of 100 percent of the adult population and 80 percent of the total population by October this year, within the next two months. At that time, InsyaAllah, Covid-19 cases will record a significant decrease and become more controllable.

We continue to pray to Allah S.W.T. and strive with all our souls and bodies so that we can all be spared from this plague. I appreciate the sacrifices of our front liners who continue to persevere in their work every day without getting tired and weary, as well as the patience of all brothers and sisters in facing this ordeal. InsyaAllah, our country will recover.

When our country has recovered from this epidemic, I believe not only can we all return to normal life, but can together bring our country back to the pinnacle of success and glory.
