Congratulatory wishes to Tan Sri Dr. Munir Majid, Chairman of CARI ASEAN Research and Advocacy and Chairman of ASEAN-BAC Malaysia on being awarded The Royal Order of the Polar Star, Commander First Class

EUROCHAM Malaysia extends our heartiest congratulations to our fellow Honorary Council of Advisor (HCA) member, Tan Sri Dr. Munir Majid, Chairman of CARI ASEAN Research and Advocacy and Chairman of ASEAN-Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC) Malaysia for being awarded “The Royal Order of the Polar Star, Commander First Class” by His Majesty the King of Sweden through the Ambassador of Sweden to Malaysia, Dr. Joachim Bergström at a special ceremony held at the Swedish Residence in Kuala Lumpur.

The special guests of the ceremony were headed by His Royal Highness Sultan Nazrin Shah (Ruler of the State of Perak, Malaysia), Mr. Raja Singham, a fellow council member, and Ms. Jukhee Hong, Consulting Director of ASEAN-BAC Malaysia.

The award is Sweden’s highest civilian honor bestowed by His Majesty the King of Sweden for Tan Sri Dr. Munir’s continuous contributions to deepening Malaysia and Sweden's bilateral relations mainly in economic, diplomatic, and social relations.
